Somewhere, a watchdog who's barked at every mailman, shadow, and suspicious leaf for years finally gets a night where nothing needs guarding.
No patrol. No alarm bark. Nothing creeping around the fence.
What does it do instead? Maybe it howls at the moon just because singing feels good, not because anything's wrong. Chases its tail for fun instead of catching an intruder. Falls asleep mid-sentence of a bark. Makes friends with the raccoon it usually hates.
Make it however you make things. Drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, poetry, whatever fits.
